Why does my nose hurt so much?
Discussion
I have had a cold that has been hanging around for the last few weeks, last week my nose started to hurt to touch and seemed red and inflamed (cold symptoms almost all gone, just a bit of a snotty nose). Friday just gone I woke up and my face was really swollen under my left eye, my nose was also swollen and extremely painful.
I managed to get an appointment at the Doctors that afternoon and he had a prod and poke and diagnosed a skin infection and prescribed Flucloxacillin 500mg.
Up until Tuesday this week I have been taking painkillers too as the pain was really bad (I am not one to complain normally and just get on with things).
Today there is no facial swelling but my nose is still a bit swollen, very sore and I can feel a kind of bump on either side of the bridge. I am not taking painkillers but am tempted to.
The course of antibiotics finishes tomorrow and to be honest I don't feel much better, is it worth me going back to the Doctors?
Any ideas what could be wrong

Doctor said it is not a sinus infection as my sinuses were clear.Gassing Station | Health Matters | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
