So whose getting an xbox one elite controller?

No way it will be better than a wheel and pedals on a racing game. Forza 6 is just epic with my thrust master tx. A controller just can't compare to the fun you can have although due to it being a game, it may well be faster to use a pad.
I don't have a wheel but I would agree with this. A mate had one and the experience is so much better.Essentially if you use a controller you're playing a game. If you use a wheel and pedals you're driving a car around a track.
That said the pad does look awesome. I would like one, particularly for the paddles on the back...but it is a lot of money. (Still good value compared to Scuf and others).
Mine arrived yesterday, haven't tried it out yet but feels very good quality. Had a look at the new app and had a play around with the settings. Not going to mess too much yet though until I get used to it. There is a massive amount of customisation allowed though.
Bought this to replace my knackered old controller which suffered badly with stick creep.

I think this controller looks pretty cool. I am keen to get one.
Went in to game to enquire this afternoon, was told it is released today but no stock, only 5 of its pre orders arrived in store, so awaiting more stock to fulfil their preorder's next week. I will wait to I see stock in store.

Finally tracked down one of these elite controllers, amazing bit of kit.
These did seem to be sold out everywhere online except if you want to pay over the odds on Amazon or e - bay, however Argos started showing stock in local stores yesterday, so that is where I picked mine up.
If you looking to get one, check out Argos.

I've had one as a present and it is really nice quality, a Play & Charge battery would have been nice though instead of a couple of Duracells. Trying it in Forza 6, I haven't got a setup sorted for it yet. I tried using the paddles for clutch and gearshift, and it was fine for changing up, but my head, or my hands, couldn't do braking with the left trigger and changing down with the left paddles at the same time, so I might try change up with the paddles and change down with the face buttons. I'll be using this on the PC too, the Windows setup app is similar to the Xbox setup app.
Best thing I bought cost me £15 from Argos a few years back was a set of 2 venom controller packs, ones on charge, the other is in use - much better life than AA's

I've got an XB360 controller (wired) which I use for PC games but would like something with a couple more usable buttons. Is that basically what the Elite controller is? Anyone know if it can be used with a Windows 10 PC?
ETA: Holy s
t, £120 for a gamepad?!?
Yea it is fully customisable. It has 4 paddles you can move around on the back, hair trigger locks, and 3 different set of thumbsticks.ETA: Holy s
t, £120 for a gamepad?!?On Xbox you can completely change the stick sensitivities and the trigger dead zones as well, I guess you can do that on Windows 10 as well.
As for the price, it is pretty steep but is better quality.
Mine came with the console but they don't even warranty the controller for the year with the console, I think the controller has 3 months warranty.
