Insurance Question
Discussion
Hi, I was involved in an RTA a couple of weeks back now. I won't bother you with the facts, but the repairs are being carried out on my car via my insurance company as we speak. I also have 2nd car on a 2nd policy, my question is do I need to let the 2nd policy car insurance know about my accident now, or at renewal.

Strictly speaking, your accident/claims history is personal to you and not your policy. Therefore you should notify the second policy issuer.
You must inform them. You should do it now. When it comes for renewal you must inform them then and they might get shirty with you because you didn't do it at the time. It is relevant to their risk assessment of you.
If they find out later and you have not told them, you could have problems in the event of a claim off the second policy!
