Windows tablet games
Discussion
I tend to prefer strategy games, and after years of things like Civ and Hearts of Iron 3 I'm currently glued to Kerbal Space Program.
Going to be working away from home for a few months, and have a work Windows 8 tablet (think it's an XPS with an i5 chip) that I'll be taking with me. Are there any interesting games I could run on it to pass the time in a hotel, that wouldn't need a keyboard and mouse to use? Most tablet/phone games seem to be a bit crap, I have no interest whatsoever in candy crush / farmville and that kind of thing.

Not really a fan of shooters either, used to play a bit of Doom and Quake years ago but only really fun if playing with a group of mates.
FTL looks like it could be worth a look. Seem like it's got a bit of a board game feel to it? Which just reminded me I've got PC versions of Settlers of Catan and Ticket to ride, I'd better see if I can run Steam on it.
Papers Please looks more like a "serious game" for training (company does synthetic environment training so that actually looks quite interesting)
