Driving home for lunch today, hit some sort of debris. No idea what it was, but it was a hell of a bang, and it's destroyed the panel in front of the rear wheel.

Does anyone have an idea how much it's likely to be to replace? I can't see any other damage from a basic look over, and the car feels fine to drive, but is there anything else I need to worry about?

Advice appreciated.

Hi Wendyg,

Bad news I'm afraid, if its below the door then its all part of the rear Clam theres no separate seal. I've spoken to my mate Norman at Ntc cars and he said If you could take a Picture you can send it to him at ntc03@btconnect.com he could then give you a better idea of price, it can probably be patched up thou.

Hi Wendy,

I did the same by hitting s wooden box at 60 (sadly no where to go but hit it, the box fell off the back of a trailer in front of me). A friend of mine did the work and it is perfect. I have a new silver Exige S2. Sadly most places will rip you off but he would do it for a few hundred (<£500). Where are you based, my friends bodyworks compnay is in Camberley.

Hi Wendy,

Sorry to hear that, although the car is made from 2 clams (front & rear), it should be possible to patch things up if the damage isn't too extensive.

If you can post a picture it might be helpful.
