Finally, yesterday (after the burning smell was sorted), on a sunny afternoon the Chim and I went for a proper run again. Hood down, some good trance, some twisty roads Absolute heaven

Powering out of corners, the wind in my hair, the roar of the engine mmmmm

What an amazing machine!!!

Well done, absoluetly first class.

This is the pure essence of PH.

I've always adored the Chimp, it's an aesthete's delight, delectable curvature incarnate.

Ahhh - Der loves life in the fast lane. Form an orderly queue, upset Chimaera owners!

But yes! Been out and about too! Force fed fresh air and growl of a TVR, "dreams were made of this" as someone once said for pecuniary gain.

My Trev came out to play yesterday afternoon for the first time in ages. I went up over Ashdown Forest, what an ecstatic feeling - blue skies, an amazing sportscar and stunning scenery. It lifted my spirits no end, particularly with Euphoria playing in the background...

I didn't quite manage the wind in my hair - I wore at hat!

Hi Cosmos

Glad to hear you got some time in the Tiv at the weekend - I was hoping you would (avoiding the mobile scamera in Lindfield of course). Pity I didn't see you - I was out hooning around Lewes way (and playing in tunnels ).

Kenny320 - contragulations on the car mate. Bring her to VW and let us have a look!

Euphoria? Good choice.

Glad you had a good time in yours. I'm meant to be "working at home" for the next few days as I've got some papers to write but as soon as the sun comes out I'm taking the chim out again

Hey Stu don't be a spoilsport! Music is my passion and where better to listen to Bass Fly with the words "Let yourself go...and enjoy the pace of life..." than in Trev?

Stereo = for engine off or boring motorway journeys. Otherwise stereo off, roof off - or at least windows down - for perfect 8-piece accompaniment!

Exactly ....you know it makes sense !!

BTW...the engine note is more noticeable with the hood right down....much deeper with pops on the overrun and between gear changes.....

Ooops...I'm getting all excited

Yes! What was the motto?

'Clunk, click - even on a short trip'

I'm sure they must have been talking about getting the roof down on one's TVR......
