Furry window seals

My flock/furry window seals are very worn. They don't leak and no wind noise. But I've found my self dropping the windows a couple of cm when driving around town to get rid of the squeaks and rattles. Ordinary silicon lube doesn't touch them, I may try silicon grease or does anyone have any recommendations @ rejuvenating them?

New seals would be ideal, generic ones wouldn't fit but I could order the correct seals........at a price.

Just wondering if anyone has had any success rejuvenating this type of seal.

I had some success rubbing a black crayon on the worn furry bits. A tip I picked up from one of the forums I visit; worked for me.

Seals Direct http://www.sealsdirect.co.uk/ have a big range of seals of various shapes and sizes.

If they don't have something, for some reason the Australians seem to be good at providing replacements, probably because they get a lot of sun which rots the seals. Try somewhere like http://www.scottsoldautorubber.com.au/ they call the flocked stuff Bailey channel and have about 50 different profiles.
