Surprised to see one at Oulton Park at the weekend when my local dealer said it could be November before they arrive. Anyone know if this is right? Not hugely different from the outgoing model at first glance but a stunning interior, and with the reduced emissions it's now looking like it'll be one of the cheapest for company car tax in this class..

Had a look the other day but the pricing seems a bit daft.

Add adaptive cruise for £1200 and you need tech pack and a few others taking it to £3245 straight away lol.

Add folding and auto-dimming door mirrors for £325 and you need electric seats at £800.

Not looked in much detail as I've been trying to put off going back in the company car scheme as long as possible, but things such as adaptive cruise would be very welcome (140 mile daily commute).. I can't believe it's not included on something like a S-line A4 as when then Golf GTD gets it as standard!

The pricing on these is pretty crazy at the moment. I specced up the highest powered 2.0 petrol with a few options that aren't exactly excessive and ended up nudging £50k.

Will be very interesting to see where the S4 ends up price wise. Feeling quite pleased that I went for the last of the line b8.5's though for now! Let's see how long that lasts wink

I do 95 miles daily and adaptive cruise in combination with the DSG box does make a huge difference, well worth having. For me it was a big selling point on the GTD over an A3 or 1-series. Surprised that bigger and more premium cars like the A4 still aren't getting it standard.

Was it a manual? If so where was the clutch, in front of your left foot or somewhere out to the right? Serious question, thanks.

This won't particularly help the important part of your question, but the fact that that car has a KN plate prefix makes it highly likely that it's an Audi UK car (they're generally registered in/around Milton Keynes and typically have K prefixes). If it is then it will also normally have "Audi UK, MK14 5AN" in small letters at the bottom of both front and rear number plates. As you'll appreciate, they sometimes have a few examples of a new model before they are generally available.
