Thoughts on this cyl head

Doing head gasket at moment on a FLT engine so not that stressed etc.

Spotted some pitting in the corner of the head. Do you guys think this needs a skim or will the new gasket take it?

A pic of the gasket would help, to see whether the pitting is under a sealing bead or an important bridge between coolant and oilways.

Hi Dave, yes its under a seal. I dropped the head off at a local place this afternoon - don't think I will take the risk.

Yes it absolutely needs a skim.
