Was on a few weeks ago in over excited mode waiting for delivery of my new V8V. 4.7 Manual, Tungsten Silver, new ski slope, plus a few extras

So after a couple of weeks ownership and a few hundred miles, the good, and the not so good (nothing bad)

Good - love it. First time owner. In fact first time owner of anything that could be deemed a performance car. Pleasure to drive and speed when needed. Seemingly loved by other road users, except the dick in the white Range Rover on Saturday near Burford. Wife likes it because she pulled, just sitting in the passenger seat waiting for me. Took me a while to engage lower gears properly - me probably rather than the car. Finding the audio and sat nav good. Audio is the 700w and sound is excellent. Sat nav does what it says on the tin. Will drive this way more than I thought, which sums it up.

Not so good - a couple of small rattles. Nothing major and a squeak in the left rear seems to have worked itself out. Seat belts vibrate against the seats - annoying. Once warm I get a significant vibration at v low revs when crawling through traffic. Reading the board this seems to be "normal" - again annoying. Dont know how much of that can be heard on the outside, but it does feel incongruous driving a beautiful car and thinking you sound like a dust cart.

But, the good outweighs the not so good by such a distance that the not so good is irrelevant.

Looking forward to soon taking it somewhere less populated than the South East where I can actually see whats it's really made of.

HWM were v helpful throughout the purchase

Picture below after Francis' detailing. Staggering difference (although the sun helps!), as does the guard dog who got his priorities right

Forum is fantastic - will stay engaged and am hoping that this is the start of an AM "stable" for me.

That sun really does sparkle, the detailing was definitely worth it.
I've only just got my Roadster as well and very much loving this fantastic sunshine whether, although I've only driven 5 miles this morning I left the car park on the drive rather than in the garage just so I could look at it every now and again......

Like the wheels, nearly as nice as the original sports pack wheels smile

Reluctant engagement of low gears seems to be a feature, especially when cold.

Mine does the dreaded low speed groan. Somebody once mentioned that mine was making a strange noise when I pulled into our works carpark, they were about 300 feet away at the time!
