a full lap, torque wins races, the new turbo cars will lap very fast.

After the fatal GTR VLN accident earlier this year, they introduced a 200kmh limit approaching Flugplatz and 250 after...

Most 'normal' people (like me) don't push hard enough to achieve these speeds - well, the first one's doable! driving

I suppose anyone with 4-500hp+ is a little more careful - I hear it's policed too, especially on trackdays...

I thought no enforced speed limits on tf, just trackdays, where the speed camera man was quite enthusiastic in the summer, I'm off out to ring now so will find out if he's as enthusiastic on trackdays now.

Driver deffo got flag waved at him - just found him on rennlist

"Here are 2 laps in a row. See second lap on döttinger long straight I am off the gas pedal due to flagg guard is flaggning yellow flag at me. He is to the left of me flaggning hard as I am going upphill close to pit exit. A car is entering track, hence flagg man warn, as Well he remind me of speedlimit, damn. No speed limit and no cars here I am at 260+ gps km/ h in gt4 down under bridge. That way you cut ap. 1.5 seconds from the btg lap flying down here, but thats a no show this day! As Well first lap when I accelerating from pit I lose 1.5 sec vs full flyer top speed under bridge on btg start! These 2 laps was all I got from when I did put on brand new tires:-(."

Are the times publicised, such as the 918 sub-7, 'BTG' or are they a full lap?

Industry T-13 laps for the manufacturer times mainly. That's the full lap minus about 200 metres.

918 6:57 was a full lap

http://www.bridgetogantry.com/2/index.php/btg-lapt...

"Laptimes normally measured from T13 pitlane exit to the first white line at the start of T13 straight. This is the SportAuto or Industry Pool standard that allows cars to do a run from a standing start without a warm-up and cool-down lap each time"

I thought the GT4 was manual, rather than PDK?
