Anyone fitted 245/45/17 tyres on the rear ?

Been trying to work out if they will catch the outrigger .

225/50/16 diameter 631mm

245/45/17 diameter 652mm.

I've got 245/40/17 on mine & are ok. Not sure about the outrigger but at least they won't catch the fibreglass on yours eh Daz!

I saw a spair on the rear of a Chimaera at Neal Garners ,they looked a lot better than the 245/40/17 . The 40`s look far to low profile and do not fill the arches ..

but they are the correct size

Well I have 235/45/17 federal RSR 595 on the other set ,they look far better with a taller wall height . I was just wondering if I could get away with 245/45/17 on the rear.

They may be a bit to close to the outriggers .

To clarify;

235 @ 45% = 105.75mm wall height
245 @ 40% = 98mm wall height
245 @ 45% = 110.25mm wall height

Thanks the 245/45/17 might be a bit close to the outriggers and may hit inside the wheel arch due to the curve being higher .
