F10 M5 colour glitch with BMW website
Discussion
Can someone correct me if im wrong here but looking at speccing an M5 on the build your car section of the BMW site and it seems like the frozen blue colour is no longer available.
However all the M5's on the site are in frozen blue, even the car on the configurator is frozen blue until you click on the other colours and then frozen isnt a selectable option.
surely if they remove the colour then they should update the images on their site. i want matt paint but dont fancy a brown car which is the only matt (frozen) colour available to select.
or am i missing something..

Think its Monte Carlo Blue
That's what I thought at first but Monte Carlo is not a Matt finish. Even in the website text introducing the m5 features it mentions the colour of the car illustrated is frozen blue. But it's not a car you can now spec. If you watch closely on the build a car screen the car that first comes on screen is Matt blue. When you go to exterior colours there is only one similar. Color on the options list which is Monte Carlo. When you select it the car on screen changes from Matt blue to a glossy different shade of blue.Am I being difficult, yes. But it bugs me that bmw are advertising a car colour that I can't buy. And typically it's my favourite of all the options.

Can you get the M5 in the same yellow colour as the F80 M4?
I would imagine so.https://www.bmw.co.uk/en_GB/topics/discover-bmw/bm...
