My posts not being highlighted...

Just a quick question to whoever deals with these kinds of things.

I recently changed my user name, about 2 weeks ago I think, and since then my own posts are highlighted in the blue background, but whenever my posts are quoted they are not. I'm sure under my old user name they came up blue as well, but I could easily be wrong! Not a problem really just a bit confusing.

Anyone able to shed some light on this?

Only your original post will be hi ligthed, quotes will not.

I've quoted my post here and to me only my post is hi lighted not my quote.

Try quoting yours Paul and see what displayes for you.

I'm also using PH classic, and my quoted posts are blue.

Something else is afoot.

Just tried PH classic & BB & both show my quotes as highlighted!(GTI is OK once you're used to it)

Just tried Smiley and classic page views (normally use, and am back to, Big Blue) and my quotes aren't blue

Try GTI it's the same as big blue but newer.

I quite like GTI.
Summat is going on with the highlighting quotes though?

In GTI search for posts posted under your old username and try quoting one, you don't have to post just click on the preview option to see if it highlights the quote.

If that works, log out of PH and then log back in using your new username and then see if your current posts are highlighted using your new username. They system might be thinking your are logged in as "old username" even though you are using a new one. (Perhaps)

The script that highlights your own posts was submitted by a user, it's actually buried in here somewhere way back in the mists of time.
