I've never ever felt the need to piss about with someone's ebay sale, but he deserves to have that sale screwed up completely. I quite fancy tracking his account and naffing up everything he tries to sell from now on.
I did get one seller have a go at me for suggesting that he maybe wait until he had more than 4 feedbacks before demanding that his buyers have more than 10! Why is ebay populated by such a large amount of angry people?

They could have at least gone to the trouble of touching up the rust around the head lights. And putting in some new floor mats. Minimal stuff, frankly, that would drastically improve its, um.. photogenic-ness. Instead of trying to disguise the crap-tastickness of the car by taking photos whilst jumping up and down in the rain.
Someone ask how much for that one next to it with no hood or head lights.

Perhaps we should let this guy alone, since he IS selling a real car. Besides, you lot might just need a tow, one of these nights, so it might be best to not make Steve angry!!

I (er, I mean 'he') awaited the demand for payment from the seller, but instead got an email from Ebay saying that they had suspended the seller's account and there was no obligation to proceed with the purchase.
Stupid twat didn't realise that at close of sale, the email address he'd used to sign up for Ebay was sent to the highest bidder...
Never heard any more about it. Not so long back thre was another similar scam (reported on here), my alias sent a 'question to seller' wanting to know why the car (I forget what it was) was the same one for sale on a US website, 9000 miles away from where he claimed it was. Before the q. was published, Ebay pulled the auction.

Totally agree with you from a sellers PoV, but as a buyer, I`d much rather see it "as is".
Yes, it is craptastic, but we are only talking about a few hundred quid for a car which could be a bit of fun.

Same here. I recon that he has done this in the past to one of those spoof question askers and now they are stalking him.
After reading that I nearly started asking him some questions myself.

I understand that the carpets are worn, however, in the interests of originality, would you include them in the auction if I were successful in my bidding? FWIW some of us don`t have the spare dosh to spend on expensive motors. c£500 for a dolly sprint would have done me nicely. However, I could not bid as my PH and Ebay names are similar.
Croly hap! I had no idea this had happened! Can I just state for the record that my alter ego took no part in either bidding or banter. I learned to drive in a Dolomite (not a Sprint) and although a mate of mine has always raved about them (it seemed at one point that his mission in life was to score a Sprint engine for his TR7) I have never really liked the looks. I always fancied a Firenza with the 2.3L...
