Land Rover shocker.

Sadly my disco went clonk the other week. My wife was driving (leave it!) and suddently there was a clank clank from the engine. She pulled over sharpish and had the vehicle recovered to an authorised repair centre.

The repair centre in question is new and has 1 technician and 1 ramp. So to strip an engine down has taken them 3 weeks. Jeez.

The engine is totally lunched (snapped camshaft, damaged crank & shells etc) so Land Rover have kindly authorised a factory recon engine.

The question is, how long will it take for the 1 technician to fit the new engine? (Save the lightbulb jokes)

Not Long---------when the engine arrives-----It takes time to find fault/extent of damage, answer queries from maifactuer ----fitting complete engine is easy.
