Anyone ever fitted a three point harness to an early griff 4.3?

The last track day I did I slid all over the place.
I am looking at possibly fitting a caterham style 3 point harness using the the three seat belt mounting positions as there aren't any other options that I'm aware of.
The rear mounting is slightly off centre but not a great deal.

Any one out there got any other solutions?

The top seat belt mount is really a bit far offset to use as a top harness mount: in the event of an accident the sideways load could break your neck.

I'd fit a roll bar, and mount the harnesses to that. In the (unlikely but possible) event that you roll the car while wearing harnesses, you won't be able to duck before your head and neck try to support 1 tonne of Griff. If you don't want to get a roll bar, you could fit some sort of harness bar between the seatbelt top mounts, although this doesn't solve the problem that the top mounts are not fixed to the chassis, only the fibreglass body.

Cheers,
Pete
(with a roll bar and harnesses, albeit in a 500)
