Morning All....

I'm having what appears to be a common Speedo problem.
My Odometer has stopped working. It started a couple of weeks back, when it was sporadic.
Now, I have nothing. The Speedo is reading fine.
I checked the online forums, and carried out the planet gear and pod inspection, but there was absolutely no damage.
I was wondering if it might be a problem with the gear motor, or maybe some kind of electrical sender unit.

Any ideas?

Thanks Chris. We use them for our E-Type instruments. I didn't know they did more up to date stuff.
The problem is, they're quoting 5-6 weeks minimum.

HI Mbutchers, yes they always quote 5 weeks, but i had the last one back in just over 2 weeks, it all depends on what they find when testing the unit.

I have a 911 sc unit to go to them with same issue

Sure you won't put any miles on in 5-6 weeks at this time of year! smile

You can try this guy who knows his stuff. Whilst he doesn't work on 'electric impulse' speedos as yours is working in that respect (recording speed) then it sounds cog related.
