Guys and gals- bearing in mind the number of people I have fitted harnesses for, then removed them because:
1) can't reach radio
2) can't be ar*ed
3) can't see over right shoulder
4) want the seatbelts back

and also given the large hassle / cost factor of fitting harnesses in an elise -
tonight I have been / tested the best accessory I've seen for a long while. With a big group buy I should be able to get us them at about forty quid - basically this will revolutionise the feel of your car if you have a standard seatbelt. Not like me to be amazed with a product, and those of you who have dealt with me will know I only recommend decent, tested kit. This thing simply rocks - all for the cost of a night out.

saw it tomight for the first time and the esprit has one in already!

Anyone interested in knowing more, drop me a mail and we'll go from there.

Cheers

DanH

Hi,

Ok, you got my attention, and then i remembered!

I'm assuming your talking about this device:

www.pistonheads.com/reviews/reviews.asp?c=63&id=414

I'd heard of this a while back, I think PetrolTed even sent an e-mail to me (and others i'm sure) about it, but I thought it was a bit pricey at the time. Obviously it's made a good impression on you!

The normal going rate now seems to be £44.99 for one. If you order 3 then it goes to £39.74 each and 4 and above is £38.99 on the website. But that's with one delivery address. But if you can arrange a group buy with them for different delivery addresses then I may well be interested.

We'd be looking at only £6 saving per gadget based on this though. But then again I might have 2 anyway! So it'll be £12 saving for me.

ok guys (and gals!).

£39.99 delivered to your door.

Let me know asap and I'll get the stock in.

Every 10th order will get a freebie (hat / sweater / bag / stickers etc.) and I'll try and get stickers for every order.

Be quick!

So can you lock these at a loose setting too? As I hate the way seatbelts slowly squeeze you and you have to pull out some slack (oo err) every now and again when your just cruising along and taking it easy.

you can lock the lap portion as tight or as loose as you like.

Basically it's a ratchet device - so once fitted and clicked "on" you just pull the clap portion as tight as you want it to stay - then a thumb push releases.

order received and processed.

I now have my hands on the stuff - some T-shirts and hats too for every 10th order or those ordering more than 2.

Have about 20 CG-locks left.

Received mine on Friday.
Next day delivery by Bruce and top service as he was immediatelly replying to my emails.

Initially it looks like not worth the price.

However it is very easy to install and it WORKS.
It makes you think why somebody havent thought of something so simple ages ago...
I would definetely recommend it to anyone.

The only downside is that it now takes 10 more seconds to put the seat belt on and then adjust it.
