Depends on which generation PCCBs are on the car. Porsche 996s, 997s and 991s all use different ceramic discs in terms of design, materials, calipers, pads etc etc etc.
Early ones had quite a few problems after heavy washing or water exposure like a big puddle etc which caused responsiveness to be a bit wooden until they were dry again. Rain however did not cause problems, just large water quantity exposure. The problem, apparently according to my colleague, lay in the hats as well as the friction material on the pads and the discs. But again, they were fine once dried or after a few applications of the brake pedal. Nothing as dramatic as some people make out.
Later models (997 and 997.2) had better material and different hats/bells which show a marked improvement in this area. Ferraris still suffer from this problem unfortunately. Then again, the friction material used by Porsche (Brembo/SGL collaboration) is much better than the one used by Ferrari/Maserati (Brembo OEM spec only).
However, if you refurbish your discs, even if you have a Gen 1 car (say a 996 GT2 for example) you can totally eliminate this problem as the surface material is completely different to the one used by Brembo/SGL and altogether more "hydrophobic" in its properties.

Incidently, BMW M cars and AMGs use virtually the same friction material as Porsche too. A close up of them all shows the same surface texture across all.
No surprise, all are Brembo/SGL made.
