I am trying to set up Remote Access on a W2K server.
When trying to connect from the remote PC (XP), I get
the message:-
TCP/IP CP reported error 733. A connection to the remote computer could not be completed. You might need to adjust the protocols on this computer.
If I check Event Viewer on the Server, it shows:-
\serveruser connected to port VPN3-127 has been disconnected because no network protocols were succesfully negotiated.
Where do I go from here?
Cheers

Have a look on your remote client PC to see if the point-to-point tunnelling protocol is installed/enabled on the network conection you use to access the VPN.
Sorry to be so stupid, but how do I check this? I can't see any such settings in the "Networking" tab of the connection.
I have a feeling that the problem lies at the server end, because I have tried it from another PC, with the same result. How can I check that the server is set up properly?
