Is anyone on here likely to need winged LS6 / Z06 Sump - I have a new one that is too wide for a TVR.

A Camaro sump might prove better for you.

Speak to Mike/Boosted LS1, he may be able to to a deal ??

I've not been following your LS6 story but thought the flat and winged oil pan was all to do with keeping a low centre of gravity, sufficient oil capacity, sufficient oil cooling and minimising surge in cornering. Guess these may not be a problem if you use a big oil cooler or dry sump it.

There are plenty of ways round it - well two really - it will be as low as in a Vette - not dry sumped though - not racing it. All sorted on what is going on instead.

I dont think theres much odds in depth between the Camaro sump, and the LS6 Vette sump. Its just that the LS6 has the winged/baffled sump for reduced oil surge.

Hey, that's my stool! I've sat on it loads of times

The difference in depth between camaro and 2nd gen ls1 is about 1" that's all.
