Microsoft Band
Discussion
Hi all,
I posted this here (http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=95&t=1547262&mid=402926&nmt=Microsoft+Band) but this is probably a better place to ask it!
I am thinking of getting a Microsoft band 2 when they ship, anyone offer any experiences with having used the Microsoft Band 1? Is the fitness app that it connects to on the phone any good as well? I'm not after a major analysis of what I do, but I'd like time, pace, distance, a GPS map view, calories burnt etc. from it all.
Primarily I'd use it for exercising as I doubt I'd wear it 24/7. I currently use runtastic on my Windows Phone when jogging/cycling but like the idea of the Band.

I don't fully understand the point of these. If you are serious about fitness in which case some data is useful then a sports specific GPS watch is going to be better. If your not that into it then what use are you hoping to get from it?
Unless you are really lazy knowing you've walked 10000 steps doesn't mean much
