Was flicking through the menus on my BGTS today and noticed that I managed to get 1.24 lateral G out of it from my track day at Bedford 6 weeks or so ago. Seems pretty good for a road car smile track was toasty hot which probably helped.

Anyone else got any comparable figures?

as already mentioned, the figures shown are peak rather than sustained unfortunately.

I was pretty stunned that I got 1.36 lateral yesterday at the Sunday Service in the CGTS... Will start keeping a closer eye on it when I do track time and see if it gets any higher. Obviously the highest I've ever got on the public road is only 1.02g smile

Just head for the nearest wall. That should get you a record topping instantaneous peak G reading.

Presumably, you can get a very high peak just by being a bit cack-handed and causing the car to jerk or skip a bit?

I once peaked at over 2 lateral G in my GT3 on the Millbrook alpine circuit. Although to be honest I wasn't actually on the circuit at the time, or in control, or going around the corner (by then). But that is another story. Suffice to say we survived unscathed - through luck rather than skill. Not a great circuit to lose control frown
