SRS - Restraint System Malfunction error - fixed

My CLK350 threw an SRS error last night - "Restraint System Malfunction - drive to garage".
With trepidation I took it to my local independent who fixed it in 5 minutes. The connector under the passenger seat had come loose. Required an OBD2 reset to get rid of the message but issue was fixed for no cost.
Just posting on here as it seems a common issue on all Mercs and this simple fix could help someone else. Only thing is I *think* that you have to have a reset tool in order to lose the message once the fix is done. So unless you have your own, you may still need a friendly local mechanic.

This error can be caused by something more sinister but it's as well to check the simple stuff first before you take it to a dealer! If I'd known where to look I reckon I could have diagnosed myself.
