Always happens to me at this time of the year, riding the bike just becomes a chore. Covered just over 5k so far, and I'm bored.
I've completely lost my mojo. No interest in getting out on the bike at all anymore. Would rather go to the gym and lift weights. Never thought I'd say that.I'm sure I'll get over it. Just not sure when.
Nope, had flu for a week, then pneumonia for 10 days, recovered enough to go on an easy ride last weekend, this weekend I'm flat out with birthday parties and christenings so I've been eyeing up my bike just dreaming about next weekend!
Saying that, it's still over 10c all day here and hasn't rained in ages! Also because I've been ill I haven't been to the gym yet - the first "it's too dark to ride after work, so I must go to the gym" trips always ruins my mood.

Not really, got myself a s/h fixie/single speed to liven up my commute, but have to replace every bloddy part on so losing the will to live, as I got it for no nonsense simplicity! Even had to buy new brake levers as one snapped, ffs!!!
This time of year is nice out and loving the lack of rain
I share your pain op when we get week after week of rain!

Nope, but I couldn't do many miles at the start of the year and am only getting back to form recently... Finally starting to build back to the power I had last year!
I've certainly felt a bit 'meh' during this year when I wasn't a strong or fast but it's been worth it..
Next week my commute will double in distance so I hope I don't start losing enthusiasm when that kicks in!

Still motivated (as much as I can around a small family) as Tenerife is booked for end of November; which I suppose is training in itself, don't want to be last up to the crater.
I think Okgo is right, without a target what's the point? May as well go out there and enjoy the countryside.
Target for next year will probably be to join a club and do a few 10TT's getting below 24mins or simply improving.

Had a mini-meh for a few days, following a so-so Legs of Steel performance. I was absolutely pooped after that so was thinking of up to a week off, then we had family to stay all last weekend and even though the weather was perfect I stayed off the bike til yesterday. Loving it again - sometimes thinking about doing it is worse than actually doing it. Getting all the kit together, getting up a bit early to have time for a decent ride, fettling the bike etc etc, then once you're turning the pedals out in the countryside, bang, you're off. Following my LOS performance, I've signed up to a 5 week Strava training programme, which feeds me activities for the next 5 weeks and I can work them in to my commute. I may also try and get into the Fred, in which case I'll have all the motivation I need for the next 8 months...
I'm feeling really good, back commuting by bike after a few weeks of driving and I have my first track session since April on Friday.... cant wait! I didnt do much riding in August and September so I am probably in a different mindset to many.
We'll be having those clear, crisp mornings again soon which make the Sunday morning rides so much more enjoyable. And its nearly Christmas (hush!) which means shiny things and gluttony!!

Heading over to Pollenca tomorrow for a few days to catch some sunshine and get some decent warm-ish rides in ... club reliability next weekend and then will enjoy a less-structured regime over winter where I'll become heavier and slower.
Not wishing to be the bringer of bad tidings but its pretty crap out there currently and not looking to improve over the next few days. The jet stream split is pushing all the crap we usually get into the med so theyre getting it all instead.
