Vulcan pic.... can anything be done with it?
Discussion
Spent the afternoon at Farnborough, got some nice shots whilst awaiting the Vulcan, but by then the light was not brilliant.

I'm sure someone with a more recent version of PS and some knowledge of how to use it can do much better. Also this is based on the version on screen as I can't find my details to download the full size flickr image.

It's a pity the weather didn't help out a bit more - I've seen other images where people have applied another sky which I think is perhaps pushing it a bit.

Same location, looks like a similar spot and I was gutted, set up in great light, and then a hazy cloud rolled it and spoiled things.

Merge layers, smart sharpen 99%, 1.3 radius, single level.

Fantastic!! Thank you very much. I have Photoshop, but no clue how to use it :/
The way I use photoshop (on the rare occasion I need to) is to open it up ready, then go to youtube and type in what you want, in this instance type in 'how to lighten a picture photoshop CC' and there are normally loads of tutorials to choose from. A lot of them are very good too.Yellabelly said:

This was done using an online tool called Polarr. It doesn't support layers so you can't do much with the sky, but if you like playing with sliders there are plenty to play with, and it's free and simple to use.
