Zeiss Otus 28mm 1.4 announced

Could this be the ultimate wide angle astrophotography lens everyone has been waiting for ?
All other offerings from Nikon, Canon and Sigma and Samyang have either failed in the corners and failed to produce acceptable Coma or failed to be sharp wide open or have terrible vignetting.
Could the less ambitious focal length of 28mm and Zeiss know how finally lead to a solution ?

Seems to have minimal coma...couple of tiny birdies in the corners but nothing major. Compared to the Nikon 20mm 1.8 for example

Not a strict apples to apples comparison but looks much more promising.
