Did you get a chance to talk to JC, or is attempting to do so like trying to hand the Queen a chocolate revolver in the middle of an easter mass?

Been on T.G twice. I have never spoken to the presenters, but they do chat to the audience all through the filming.

What are the odds of me phoning up in advance and asking if JC will sit in my cerb, have his pic taken with my girlfriend or would that be asking too much?

Too busy oogling up the female atendees in the audience? I recon as ever, they run a tight schedule which is why if JC is going to be a nice guy I recon I'd need to phone up.

Hmmmmmmmmmm

I like him, he wouldnt slag a cerbera, its valentines day and I dont yet have a pressie for my girl. She loves his takes on cars too and a pic would be something to cherish for life.

Besides, I need a new profile photo

so what are my chances then? I have no idea how they run the show, feel its best I call up in advance, but am in limbo hoping he'll find the 5 minutes to humor me, but fearing he most likely wont.

Its worth a try, if you don't ask you don't get! I presume you've already got tickets?

Best bet is to do it during the break in filming they have at lunchtime, i've seen him in the car park before taking the pish out of a guy with a Jag XJR that had been converted into something orrible.

Is the break around 2:15(ish?) I think they do 2x4 hour slots... and Im guessing 1 slot is per show. I remember reading (here on ph) that they were limited to a certain number of days shooting per year, something to do with local residants and too much noise/traffic or is there a lunch in the middle of the morning shoot probably 12ish which would make sense, maybe not if they have a tight schedule?

I've been before an going again Sunday. You should bear in mind the UK show is a full hour whereas I suspect the American version is only 30 minutes, less the adverts I guess only 20 minutes of footage. My ticket says filming starts 12pm and finishes 2pm - doubt they'll have a break just for 2 hours.

If you can get him in your Cerb, maybe I'll stand a chance of getting him in my Viper

When I went JC went for a wander round the car park beforehand to see what cars the audience had brought. I think he does it to strike up a rapport as in quiet moments he was asking "Who's got the RS2?" "Who's got the 928?" etc. If you can catch him then I'm sure he'll be happy to jump in.

The Top gear day was fantastic! Lots of standing around but something was always happening, and there was plenty of exotica parked up! Being on the set watching the shoot and its various retakes take place (JC called blair a c*nt, swore/smoked like a trooper throuought) was brilliant! Jeremy was as funny off camera as he was on camera, it was a good laugh

The show was not scripted, was all about supercars, and despite being for a US audience (discovery chanel, whom he origionally declined, then said yes to when they got their cheque book out) was very much spur of the moment, with far fewer retakes than I would have imagined! A few takes needed doing 3 times, some twice, but the majority were ok first time round.

Best of all, I spent more time with him than anyone else, and got the PHOTO I was after

I wouldn't give the wooly-headed w@nker the time of day, let alone allow myself to be used as a target for his 'humour'.
As for bikes, he clearly hasn't got the balls. Apart from which, his ego wouldn't allow him to admit he can't ride one (unless he can, in which case he clearly hasn't got the balls... etc. )

Its his crack at comedy, a job, entertainment and earning his crust. He has to have a front or there wouldnt be "the man, the show"

I dont like bikes either, dont have the balls as I know too many people who have had had their horrific accidents but it takes all sorts to make a world... vs not giving someone the time of day, right?

If not mate then fair play, everyones entitled to their own opinion.

Nice one Bob, sounds like a right laugh!

Nice car by the way, I did get the e-mail but it's on my outlook at home and I'm away working at the moment.

So how does it compare to a V8S??

Also, how do you go about getting TG tickets?
