Just received the ac mod bracket from M.F. along with new belt
Been told by local garage that the pulley on the ac unit has a chunk missing.
Called M.F. back today to buy a new pulley, was told they are not available seperately and would have to be a new unit at £540
Must be someone whom has had theirs changed, surely
can anyone point me in the right direction

No. its still on the car. ( without the belt ) that came off (again ) at the weekend.
I am assuming from how the mechanic explained it that it is the black pulley on the front, as in pic from M.F. web site below
