Who to call for help around the country ?

This is a call to anyone willing to add their name to a list I'm going to try and put together on the back of my running in post ( http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... )
If you find yourself in need of help at the side of the road and just don't have the tool needed I'm hoping this could help.
My initial thoughts are,
1. PH name/real name.
2. Area/town/village/first digits of a post code.
3. What facilities do you have. Driveway, jack and hand tools to fully kitted out garage and everything in between.
Of course I realise that a lot if not most people will have breakdown cover but you might not want your pride and joy dropped at the nearest garage. Plus local garage, parts and general TVR fixing knowlage could be a huge asset.
I'm no computer wiz so I'm not sure how I'm going to put this together yet so any and all suggestions welcome.

Nice idea. Not sure how many people would be happy about putting this information out in the public domain though.
When my Caterham windscreen wipers broke in a torrential downpour, at Lands End, Cornwall, a kind local offered me his garage. We drove the car in and he made us tea and offered us tools. It was a huge double garage. We were really grateful!

I think for me the Facebook Groups get a goo response most of the time. generally a lot quicker than on here, as your post will make the group settings notify you.
Might be something that PH bods could do on here actually, another section for help on each Marque and let "Chrome Browser" (other browsers available, notification API give you a notification of a post if you subscribe to it.

I also like the Facebook group for a fast response but not everyone is on Facebook.
I was just a thought that might have helped someone in need st some point after seeing the generosity of people offering to help me out while running in my engine and hunting for better weather.
As this doesn't look like it's going to take off let me say if anyone is heading up to and beyond Edinburgh, say a Highland drive, and is looking for assistance I'll be more than happy to send you my details. I'm in Musselburgh to the east of Edinburgh and my garage is less than 10 minutes away from me.
This has been a great idea Cokes,, I've had an issue at the side of the road once,, came on here and it wasn't long before someone local was in contact,,, I worked it out and went on my way,,, I don't do face book ( work of the devil )

The triumph sports six club did this years ago (about 30) you kept the handbook in the car. It was a great idea.
