No, first registered April '88 by Isaac Agnew, then re-registered in the UK by Lovetts (Porsche Swindon) in 1995.
I owned that car until about 2009 and put most of those miles on the clock.
The 'CSs' are more special than many people realise and one of the nicest 911s I've ever driven - but the price is eye-wateringly high.

With respect to pricing/spread....I started looking for a CS in late '99 buying one in early 2000. There always seemed to be one or two for sale and another might appear for sale in a month or two.
As they were rare they did trade at a premium to a similar mileage and condition 3.2 Carrera Sport, this appeared to be around £4k more at that time!
Impressive as the CS was cheaper when new due to it's lack of equipment, which is probably why they took a while to sell!

it is a very nice looking car but £250K?last I saw one for sale about a year ago was only £60k, I only wish I had bought one a few years ago when they were £25-30k as imo one of the nicest Porsches of the 80s!I think modern Porsche prices are a joke!
This price increase across the board for old and new 911's has changed the Porsche forums (globally and locally) for the worse IMO
There used to be threads like 'Should I swap my CS for a 930 Turbo?' or 'What ARB settings are you using for your 996 GT3?' etc etc There even used to be maintenance threads on how to keep your car running well and what preventative work you can do!
All those threads have gone and have been replaced with people slagging other people off for their choice of car, colour or gearbox.
