I think my driver's side seat heating has gone!
Is there a fuse I can check (V8V so fusebox in the boot)?
Or is it common for the seat heating element to go pop?

My 2006 v8v has the same issue on drivers side. Haven't had time to look into a possible fuse issue, but really hoping it's something this simple.

Not in my ownership, and I don't recall seeing any prior paperwork related to the seat heating?

Thanks guys, I remember seeing that thread now.

Sadly it doesn't apply to me as I have an '06 with on/off seat heating.
Are they also prone to failure or have I just been unlucky?

Mine went a while ago too. Tried various fuses, apparently it's the module itself.... Haven't been bothered to do anything about it, so I'd be interested to hear if you find the actual solution!
