Got my twin turbo 1uZfe running nicely on megasquirt and will be driving it shortly to get the ve Map something like before going on the Dyno . I need some values for boost up to 0.5 bar as its going to go into boost a little bit as I try to get the map filled in close to 100kpa . I haven't done anything with a boosted v8 before and the photo is what the Ms generated as an ignition table ,
Does it look like it will be ok as it is ??

Cant see scale correctly on the left, and load axis looks rather limited if it's as few sites as it looks.

As for whether it looks ok or not, no idea what sort of CR etc they normally run, or what sort of charge temps etc you might encounter

You could give it a try and listen to ensure there is no detonation of any kind, pulling back another 3-4deg above 100kpa wouldnt hurt though at least as far as a first try is concerned.

Map scale is up to 150kpa and its s stock engine so 10.5-1 compression . I don't have any intercooler but have a water meth kit which is triggered off Tps / map and ait . I've struggled to find files on the Ms forums . Just seems a big step from the line under 150kpa .

I'm very interested in this as I've got a 1UZFE sat in a Cobra replica that will be getting the Twin Turbo treatment next year.

Do you mind telling me what turbos you are using, if secondhand what car they came off, and what your power goals are?

Cheers,

Tony

I've got a build thread on rods n sods in the garage section if you want to see how I've done mine . I'm not bothered about big boost due to the compression ratio but I should see 370-400 hp without too many issues

You are making a lovely job of that car. The power to weight ration will be crazy, but in a good way. I thought I was being adventurous with a planned 450 bhp in a 1250kg Cobra but you could get that is something half the weight.

Cheers,

Tony
