I remember this from years ago...the Porsches were a lot more meaner and amazing in my child's eye than kit car now.
...and how did he get the flatnose down the hill at the end when a modern GT3 won't even make it out of a petrol station!

That's the scene that turned me into a petrol head. Had the pic on my profile for ages.
I think the flatnose was a beetle based kit car.

Wow, I had forgotten about this film - the first one I ever saw at the cinema.

The Porsches were so much better than the Condor man car , thanks to this film I had a radio controlled 935 as a kid.
