Assisting customers in splitting the cost of a purchase....

Hi All

Does anyone know of any site, app, system etc that would allow people to split the cost of a gift between 'X' number of friends/family members? A bit like a wedding gift list.

So we as a company setup the "group buy" and send out invites to those specified with the specified "donation" to the gift, and when all contributions are in the gift is issued.

Its been done, similar products for organising buying wedding/birthday presents..

No idea on names though or success
