Just a quick question about Staying Sunday Night.

I heard that Pikeys get on and around site on the Sunday night, is this true? Do many people stay untill the Monday? This is our first trip and so far we have the camping booked till Monday which is the day we are planning to stay till!

I just read about Houx having Fireworks etc..... Can we move sites once everyone else has gone?

We are at Karting Nord at the moment!

It seems the chaps on the gates disappear once the chequered flag drops, so if you wanted I doubt you'd be stopped if you wanted to move sites. But if you were going to that trouble you might as well start heading home.

The Pikeys do descend on the camp, and will pick up anything they think is unclaimed. But otherwise are harmless enough.

If you're in a position to make your own fun on the Sunday then it's worth staying, especially if you've only arrived on the Friday for example.

Sounds good enough, our group is turning up on the Thursday our Ferry home isn't booked untill 18:00 on the Monday! So Ideally we want to stay till Monday.....

I'll just join in with the Pikeys and see if anything decent is left laying about!

Sunday night in Le Mans central square is one of the best nights of the week, have a beer at a bar on the square and watch the BBC in action ( British Beefeating club) great atmosphere they always put on a show and take the p### out of the passing motorist then go back to the campsite a set everything you no longer need or intend to take back with on fire.
