new tyres don't feel right?

iv been running toyo t1-s tyres on the back of my cerb and have been very happy with them so when they needed replacing i bought some more.
I kwickley scrubed off the relese agent and then gave them a good roadtesting but they just don't feel right.
im getting a very loose feeling at the rear, it feels like the back wheels are toeing out, you can,t keep the dam in a thing straight line at speed.
iv checked pressures, tried different pressures, checked rear toe ( in 2mm ). Thing is it was fine untill i changed the tyres?
has anybody got any ideas?

Toyos take about 400 miles to bed, so I've been told. How many miles have you put on them?

Agreed, Toyos do need about 4-500 miles to bed in. It’s especially noticeable when you’ve had new rears. I’ve had new Toyos on my Tuscan a few times and the “weaving about” feeling does go away by about 500 miles.

Be VERY careful if you have to break hard at speed as the back end will be all over the place. The scariest moment of TVR ownership I’ve had was with 250 mile old toyos when some numpty pulled out in front of me on a dual carriageway and I had to stand on the brakes.

Agree with everyone on the bedding in. A good few hundred miles is definitely needed. Would suggest over-zealous use of the loud pedal in a straight line to help the process (just not while all the gloop used to help the tyres slide on easily is still there... or they may spin & get unbalanced).

thanks for the advice guys. done 300-400 miles on them so far, ill have to get get the beast out and about when the roads start to dry up a bit!
