Chaps, I'm scratching my head at the best way to do this one...

I can't find suitable 'off the shelf' profile plastic / nylon extrusion, the only alternative I can come up with is to commission a mould tool.

It doesn't need the keyhole slot underneath but we'd have to drill each to take a self-tapper.

Usage c10,000 pa.

Any ideas?

somebody with an acrylic laser could cut that for you. Give these guys a ring and they will put you in touch with somebody they have supplied locally.

An option might be to look at extruded GRP profiles. Set up costs should be quite low and it can be designed to suit your requirements

My mate has just set up something similar

Although he specialises in composites he can work with acrylic plastic etc

How about milling lengths, then parting them off?

Or laser plate for injection moulding about £15.

I agree with Justin above.

Machine them for ~ 50p each or mould them for ~ 5p each.

Its only a simple part but for 10k per annum I would choose the latter with a small amount of set-up costs. I would even go so far as branding or logo-ing with moulding to help with your marketing or future sales.

BTW I could help with either option if you get stuck.
