If you have more than one car try admiral muti car. I recently added a car, a fiat 500, and got a refund.

I've just finished my renewal now and to be fair I've stayed with admiral.
They're probalby worth a call even if your not doing multicar. Next best for me was Esure and they were cheaper but with help from admiral they got me down to nearly as close as esure and provided free fully comp european cover which I needed.

With esure I had all the extra's added too through their site as a deal which apparently you can only get through online.

I have a grudge against SKY insurance so I can't recommend them smile.

Diamond are part of Admiral, and took 18 months to finalise our VXR8 claim. It's not just the cost of the policy that matters.

Sky have been best for me, into my second year of monaro ownership 1st year was with AFlux. Saved 400 quid swapping to sky and I'm 27.

Sky. Admiral with the VXR Monaro but they had no idea what our VXR8 Bathurst S was and that hardly filled me with confidence. However check Skys paperwork as the wording has been wrong twice now, which they corrected . They were also cheaper on the Ro than Admiral and matched NCD with another so we moved the cars to them.
ALWAYS HAGGLE they always chip a fair bit off.

Strangely just done a multicar quote with admiral for myself and the misses.

She has a little Ford Sport KA. Shes 34, 3 years NCB, it somehow came in at £960 extra for the KA. The Monaro was £530 for the exact same cover with the same drivers and same mileage for work purposes etc.

Guy said he would get back to me as something does not seem right there. I have 10 years NCB, 32, both have accidents though.

Still no reason the KA should be THAT expensive. Getting a quote for it on it's own not on multicar I got it for £480.

As Araf mentioned, you don't know a good insurance from a bad insurance until you have to make a claim, regardless of cost, perhaps the guys that have had to claim on here could mention which insurance they were with and how the claim was resolved, good or bad.

Claimed via brentacre. Once they finally went to monkfish and got parts from them it was done in a couple weeks. Until that point they were trying to use their own supplier for parts and were being quoted aat mega money for parts. So tried to write the Monaro off.

In the end it still came to nearly £6,300 but they replaced things like the wheel etc as it had a small scratch in it. I actually said to the garage leave the old wheel in the boot and it's on the car right now. While the shiny brand new one with the brand new tyre is my spare.

basically the car was returned to me in better condition than it was in before the accident entire front end was resprayed etc.

Think in total it was around 2-3 months to get the car back. Obviously some parts were a little harder to track down. So that delayed it a little.
