Dragons Den - who would u want on the panel ?
Discussion
my other contenders for next series (if there is one)
I read somewhere that Terry Leahy (?) chap that runs tesco left school with hardly any qualifications, born in oldham - (I assume since gone on further education) but great achievement (lot of retailers won't look at anyone for head office without a degree)
Philip Green, don't know about his history growing up, but seems one of the very best (£1B he made from BHS - personally I think he would certainly turn around M&S if they let him)
Barclay Brothers - (inherited vast amounts, relation to gran pappy barclay who opened the bank) now own various media papers (scotland mainly) littlewoods/shop direct (basically half of mail order!) but very private people apparently.
Tim Watts - owns (inherited) pertemps, UKs leading independant recruitment company, larger than life character, quite funny & likes a drink!
Name on tip of my tongue(?) venture capitalist, ex manchester grammar, big man utd fan apparently worth £700/800m (please buy man utd!!) and heard thoroughly decent man. Cant think of his name
Richard Branson - too obvious.
John Caudwell - fiery person - done very well for himself (comes across as a tssr though!)
any suggestions?
