2105 shogun swb barbarian

Never thought of a shogun but needed a proper 4x4 with a 3t tow limit for a triple axel trailer and something nice enough for the weekend also. land cruiser and discovery are both 10/15k more expensive and nothing else tickled my fancy. There's not much shogun info about anywhere inc on here.

It's a barbarian limited edition, 3.2L 197bhp, 20" wheels (snow tyres ordered) pearl white paint and different leather.

First impressions, it certainly is big but it drives well, loads of shove from the motor, plenty of toys to play with such as dab radio etc. Mpg has been sitting around 32 so far, remains to be seen how that will pan out but happy enough so far!!

Cracking truck, how come you went for the SWB out of interest? In experience of selling both working for Mitsi, the LWB tows smoother, and more stable. So much so, I purchased one myself for a tow vehicle, I have the 3.2 Did Auto LWB, now ticking past 150k, and smooth as silk still. Loving it!

Drove the lwb but the shortie felt more nimble and quicker. Also I don't need the interior space. Haven't towed yet but looking forward to see how it pulls.

Always liked the look of these in their sector, my dad looked at one but ended up getting a big volvo instead

How did you get this one 90 years before its official release though?

I like these chap at work has a 2008 LWB which he has had from new, done 100k and runs perfect. I have my eye on it when he fancies a change.

I have the 3.0L LWB in white which has not done ~125K Km. It has done to it is a regular service and tyres and it give me ~550km to a tank of petrol. Drives well and it has a reasonable interior.

Much the wife's displeasure dropping the split single seat behind the drivers seat means I can keep the bicycle upright with the wheels on in the car.

Very long story, it developed a random fault that they hadn't seen before and couldn't fix. It stopped dead roughly once every thousand miles and wouldn't start for 2 hours, then away perfect for another 1k with no lights/faults. After 5 attempts they refunded it.
