Hey folks

Been looking at insurance quotes for my new car. However I have found that insuring the car in November for some reason is substantially more expensive than insuring at the end of October (£40 difference between 14/11/15 and 28/10/15, it goes up another £10 for the 1st week of November (08th) & stays constant for 3rd week. Just curious if there is some kind of grace period where I can have my NCB locked to 2 vehicles (its £300 more expensive if i want to insure without NCB) before I transfer it over?

God I hate giving these vultures my money biggrin.

2 years. Ive also got 1 year that I gained on a bike policy which is no longer in use. Not sure how or if I can transfer it over and it appears my cheapest quote insurer doesnt seem to care about a 3rd year as it only reduces the policy cost by £10.

You won't be able to use the 3rd year but you will be able to cancel your current policy and start a new one using your two years bonus, if that's what you want to do.

AH that would make a lot of sense.
