Has anyone moved from Spotify to one of the streaming services able to stream at >320k bit rates?

What differences have you noticed if any in sound (i.e. in the real world)? Any pros/cons of the non spotify services?

I'd also like to download and listen to music on a non streamed basis through one of these services.

Any other recommendations?

I'll be using a combination of a Sonos Play 5, and a Naim Uniti to playback through if that's of any help.

I used to have Spotify, then switched to Apple Music (which i hated) so it was a toss up between Deezer premium or Tidal, I love Deezer which surprises me.

It integrates perfectly with my BMW and is also meant to work very well with my upcoming Sonos 5.1 setup.

Deezer gets my vote.

I switched from Spotify to Tidal HiFi and I'm very pleased with it. One of the reasons I chose it was because it integrates with roonlabs. That gives you a fantastic front end on an iPad or other tablet. To download and listen offline you just click a button on an album.

I never managed to get Deezer to set up my account to the enhanced sonos version. Their support is slow and terrible.

Tidal is 'OK' but nonexistant parental controls make it a non starter.

I think I'm going back to buying...

I have Tidal which works very well even with a VPN. No loss of signal and for the money is good if you like your music.

Never found out. There is no number, you have to email them and wait 24 hours for a reply. If the reply doesn't answer your question you have to email again and wait another 24 hours, and on, and on...

All I was trying to do was switch to the Deezer for Sonos service. I gave up in the end.

I have a US (why pay more! wink ) subscription to Tidal but find their genres and customisation of music poor. It's very difficult to discover new music, unless you like a certain type of music (which I don't). I've found their playlists short and stale. I do not appreciate the quantity of swearing on tracks within their playlists either, with no way to disable them.

Google Play was surprisingly good, until they destroyed it back in July by removing Explore and the Genres section!

Trying Qobuz which seems better so far. I'm refusing to pay double for their uncompressed service though. MP3 will have to do.

Basically it depends on what you listen to really, and how you like to discover music.

sound quality on tidal is good - in hifi;
UI is poor & discovery services ropey at best.
I also have spotify, but find myself on Tidal more
