I would also look at the light design pack, along with electric fooling mirrors to Finnish it off.

You just have to survive the long Wait now smile

I would add bucket seats i have them in mine and they are lovely and you can have them heated as well.

A rather appropriate slip there- electric "fooling" mirrors. They do look rather flash, I have to agree - but actually they don't reduce the width of the car that much.

Bose ?

All the other speaker options/sound seem very poor in the Boxster!

My BGTS is due completion at the factory on 6th November - 2 weeks today!! Should have it by late November, can't wait!

I found deciding the Spec both exciting and worrying - seems daft doesn't it? But was so concerned I would regret something afterwards.

Mine differs to yours by these things:

Guards Red (more 'traditional' Porsche colour)
Carbon Interior Pack inc Centre Console (wanted this but not the red dial or stitching)
Standard 20" wheels with colour crests
Bose
Phone Prep (dealer advised the module was unnecessary if all I was using was bluetooth)
PDLS+
Light Design Package
Folding Heated Mirrors
Cruise
Auto Dimming Mirrors
Digital Radio

After this was decided there was one other thing I was unsure about - Power Steering Plus. Lots of cars have it but the enthusiasts seem to dislike it, so I decided to leave it off as it can be configured afterwards (it's a software change only).

Have fun choosing.

You won't find many fans of Bose on here either (count me out). Sound quality is a very personal thing - the only solution is to compare your options if you can.

In the Boxster GTS what exactly does the light design package give you?

IIRC it's nice LED lights in these places : footwells, mirrors on sun visors, door pockets, door handles and overhead console - hope that's about right?

Will consider Light Design, I was going for the Platinum finish on the wheels then saw this picture with the black gloss wheels, what are everybody's thoughts on these black gloss wheels?
Also are they hard or easier to keep clean?

I would consider the carbon steering wheel, had one on a loaner and thought the feel was fantastic, would never have considered it beforehand. If available it would be one of the first boxes I tick

I assume you posted second time to try and get a photo posted?

The platinum finish is very nice but I personally don't like black - from the side in gloomy light the wheel looks like a black hole to me. I may be in the minority but I like the standard silver finish best with any colour car.
