MBK carbon bike

MBK have a chequered history having taken over the rights to the famous Motobecane name who themselves made tour winning bikes in the the 70s a bit like
this. Motobecane also made mopeds but sold out to one of the Japanese bike manufacturers, I'm pretty sure there are still Motobecane branded mopeds around but I dont think they are particularly good.
From the 80s the MBK bikes all went a bit downhill and manufacture switched to the Far East as they appeared to have chased the entry level market. A few companies use the Motobecane name in various cycling guises but are nothing to do with the original French manufacturers.
The MBK you have looks like a generic carbon frame from the Far East, there is nothing wrong with that of course, probably from mid 2000s looking at the Shimano chainset (6600?)

Thanks for the history, gives me a little more to go on.
Am told the frame was originally £4,000 (which may be the case for carbon in the early days?)
Note it has an unusual chain stay, which I've not seen before.
Not seen bike yet myself, but am told cranks and deraillier is dura ace with ultegra cassette.

More sleuthing suggests it is an MBK RD 1200.
The chainstays are indeed odd, clearly an attempt to add some comfort but as the chainstays transmit the power from the cranks to the rear wheel, I'd say the last thing that you would want is some form of split at that point of the frame.
It is unusual but I can not see how the frameset was ever worth £4k as MBK were neither an Original Brand Manufacturer, who own the Factory and the brand like Giant, nor an Original Design Manufacturer like Deng Fu who own the factory and build frames for other people (I think thats the right way round!) MBK just buy frames from other people albeit they may well go with their own design thats proprietary to them, hence why no one else ever built a frame with split chainstays.
There was a guy selling the frameset for 400 euros back in 2014 which was about £300... no £4k frame would drop that much.

But has decided that it's too big for her.
So is trying to sell it to another friend.
Both ladies know me well, and I keep getting asked for advice.
Not having heard of brand, wanted to get more info.
Spec is very nice - but looks like the bike/frame maybe quite old.
