Now unable to flick through spotify tracks using AMI

Hi,

When I first received my AMI ViseeO Tune2Air WMA3000A Bluetooth Adapter I could go backwards and forwards through my spotify tracks on my phone using the MMI.

I'm now unable to do this even though my phone is synced and I can only change tracks on spotify itself.

Is there any reason why this has changed?

My audio is MMI 3G baic and my phone is an Honor 6 Plus.
