Is there really no lock on the petrol cap?

The flap simply lifts up... and I dont have a lock on the cap... Has mine been replaced or something or is this a genuine porsche jobby?

Bit dodgy....

Just an idea but on a lot of cars the central locking puts a 'shot bolt' into the flap to stop people being bale to open it when the doors are locked.

The flap locks when you lock the car.

If it ever fails to unlock, there's a small ring thing visible when you open the drivers door and look towards the hinges. Pull that to release it.

Your cap is probably black plastic with a raised ridge to open it running right across the diameter.
