As some have already collected their cars what is the initial feedback and where are the photos ??!!

Be great to hear all positives and pictures of a GT Metallic with the classic spyder interior (my choice as you might have guessed)

Yep, I've been driving mine - 1k miles so far and 10 days to its first outing at Oulton. There are a few GT4s attending so it should be an interesting first track run! I've put a few pictures and comments on the spyder thread (yellow one).

In short it's an epic machine, much more nimble than the GT3 and easier to play with on public roads - and roof free and manual!!!

Big grins every time I drive it.

I did have a drive of the PEC car around the local Silverstone back roads, and I wouldn't disagree with your thoughts, have had several GT3s as well.
I'd expect the GT4 to have the edge on track I guess, but I can also see that smaller and less sticky tyres could well make it more 'playful'.

Hi, Just posted on another topic. I have a build date for January. I am also looking to spec silver with the classic interior. I have not finalised my spec yet. Thoughts appreciated.

What date are you all going, wouldn't mind popping along to see some Spyders and GT4's in the flesh; only a short distance from me.

Weds 4th Nov - it's a PCGB day so there should be plenty of interesting gear there

Oh sweet, I assume it is free entrance to all as usual (no track use). Will pop down, hopefully see some GT4's in the flesh.

Hi all, visited the local OPC yesterday to have a look around a white Spyder just off the transporter. It was quite a basic spec with 18 way seats. I must say it looked fantastic so much so that white is back on the agenda. My dealer advise me to stick to a bright colour with a black leather interior. Scratching my head again, back to the configurator

Collected my car tonight, and did a quick 250mile trip taking my daughter back to uni.

Loved having a manual box again, the short throw stick is perfect.
The sound the exhaust makes is sweet music, and you seem to be able to play it like a trumpet.

The powerband seem to kick in quite late but when in does comes it send the back squmining, great fun.
The car feels light and balanced.

I can't believe that Porsche have made the car that they said they would never do. A boxster with a 911 engine, l think it's one of my favourite cars.

Going to Goodwood breakfast club this Sunday, was going to take my new gt3rs but think l will take this baby instead!

I was on the verge of going Sapphire Blue but changed my mind to GT Metallic
Slight regret I have to say but too late to change

Mine is GT Sliver and I love it! My last three Porsches were white as is my current GT3RS, so I'm a fan of white but I think my spyder looks great. I think the Car looks strong in sliver, and the classic interior set off the Sliver real nice.

Only box I wish I ticked was the upgraded sound/speakers, and I would recommend changing this if you have left the car with the standard set of speakers, they are just not up to it.

Rare than a 991 GT3RS, Much cheaper than Carrera S convertible....Happy days

Yes, just rock up into the paddock. No charge for spectating but you can get a passenger ticket for a tenner (you will need a helmet though).

I'll probably be there in my 964 as usual...it'll be nice to see some new spyders and GT4s out on track. smile

Just checked and I have the sound package plus so I would recommend getting the Bose kit.
