Colin McRae 2, 3 & 4 PC version ?
Discussion
I'm sure Windows has a Compatibility Mode to run older games, but if you're looking to keep it simple and have an iPhone or iPad (not sure about Android) you can buy a slightly updated version of CMR1 (I think, could have been CMR2) for only a few quid. And it's brilliant fun!
RE; the PC, in my experience, it's usually a case of Googling and trawling acres of geeky web forums, downloading home made apps and trial and error. I went through all of that to get X-Wing Alliance up and running then LucasArts rereleased a Steam version not two weeks after!
If it's just for you and the nostalgia, I'd find a mobile version.
